About

I'm a keyboard slapper enthusiast. Outside of this, I'm passionate about soccer, running, lifting, and chasing that vagabond spirit. I love traveling and trips to the mountains to snowboard and trail run.

  • Access Control List and Diagnostic APIs: Designed and implemented APIs for network connectivity diagnostics, enabling customers to troubleshoot access issues across 250,000+ VPCs.
  • Spearheaded the integration of metric sampling across all proxy core components, resolving critical memory issues in hyperscaled regions by reducing memory consumption (a 75% reduction).
  • Anti-Entropy Solution: Proposed, designed, and implemented an anti-entropy solution to keep 250,000+ customer VPCs in sync across all production regions, reducing the system’s eventual consistency window from unbounded to under 6 hours.
  • Top N Contributors: Pioneered AWS Contributor Insights and enhanced E2E connection and request-level metrics across critical proxy fleets. Reduced mean time to diagnose caller-attribution issues from hours of log sifting to a minute.
  • Added Unbound to all proxy fleet hosts to cache DNS records, resulting in a 15% reduction in request latency and improved availability posture.
  • Re-architected and implemented a customer-facing UI for service onboarding using React and TypeScript, with Cypress for integration testing. Reduced onboarding time by 99% (8 hours to 5 minutes), enabling 100+ services to self-onboard.
